* To all those who lost a loved one in the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, I wish you peace, love, and strength during this difficult time. *
When one part of the world experiences devastation and tragedy, it affects all of us, around the world, wherever we may be. It is at times like this when we get to see the unity and force of humanity, something we don’t see very often but need: true strength, heroic deeds and collaboration.
Tragedy reminds us of who we are, what we stand for and that we are all one, struggling together to survive on a daily basis through this long endeavor we call Life. Strangers band together without judgment, out of the goodness of their heart with no strings attached. Connections are formed or re-formed as part of the healing process. If we can help our neighbor, this is the time we often do
Tough times re-affirm to us of what is truly important: love and sharing this precious gift with others because you never know what might happen tomorrow. Often from tragedy, we find strength we never knew we had.
… But we are strong and we can survive this. You are not alone. Be hopeful even when it’s easier to fall, keep on a steady course, even when your feet slip or stumble on the rocky road to healing and recovery. We are right behind you, supporting you, and thinking of you. We will hold you up even when you can’t. As long as one person stands up, terrorism will not win and you have a world behind you.
